Hello and welcome to TechByte Gaming!
On this page you will find information about who I am and why I created and maintain this website.
Before we continue, let me introduce myself. My name is Alexander and I am 36 years old.
(I will also add a photo, but later, let me first make a decent one :))
I love playing games (mostly computer games, as I don't have any consoles).
In addition, I enjoy technology in general. Any new things, whether in the software or hardware sphere, catch my eye.
Professionally, I am a programmer, specifically a web developer. My design skills are not at a very high level, which can easily be seen from this website.
I often discuss or argue about a game with friends.
And since I can write somewhat grammatically correctly, I decided there was no problem in creating a website to do it.
So, the idea for this website was born some time ago, but I kept putting off creating it, mostly due to laziness.
Well, in the end I sat down and scribbled it together in 2 days, but that was the easy part, the hard part is now filling it with content.
Why TechByte Gaming and where does that name come from?
I go by quite a few nicknames on the Internet, which I changed over time. I started with "HunteR", then briefly used "Pr07o7yp3", and now I go by the nickname "Sa6o90". None of these, however, were suitable for a website name, and I didn't like any of them enough anyway.
So I decided to ask my new friend - ChatGPT.
After I asked him to suggest a few names, I stopped at this one - TechByte Gaming. It seemed great to me, as it fully corresponds to what I aim to do with this site, which is publishing articles, reviews, podcasts, etc. on the topic of games and technology.
