At first glance, I wasn't particularly impressed, but after giving it a try... oh my, someone pry me away from this game. :D
If I were to rate the game, I'd place it right after the Odyssey version.
The game offers around 10 hours of gameplay, but the best part is that these hours are filled with unique content.
Almost every level you'll go through is radically different from the previous ones.
Unlike Super Mario Odyssey, Wonder is a 2D game, and what really sets it apart from previous games in the series are the so-called Wonder Flowers.
Such a flower is found in almost every level, and if you find and touch it, you enter a different, magical version of the level you're playing.
Everything starts moving and changing, creating a completely new experience.
Graphic
The game looks really good.
As I mentioned before, it's 2D, meaning you can only move left and right in the levels, but the graphics have a 2.5D style, where the character models, enemies, and everything else have depth.
The animations are smooth and enjoyable, just what you'd expect from a game like this.

Gameplay
There aren't many changes here. If you've ever played Super Mario, and chances are you have, then you'll instantly get the hang of the mechanics.
Aside from those new Wonder flowers, everything else remains the same - you run to the right, jumping over obstacles, aiming to reach the end of the level.
Boss levels are also present, and I can say they're quite enjoyable.
Overall, most levels are rather easy. You might find it challenging if you aim to collect every single coin, as some of them are placed in harder-to-reach spots.
However, there are also optional levels separate from the main ones. They offer a much higher difficulty and will definitely provide enjoyment for those seeking challenges.

Conclusion
In conclusion, I can say that every fan of the series (and even those who aren't) absolutely must experience this game, especially if you own a Nintendo Switch.
The fun factor is through the roof, which is typically characteristic of Nintendo games.
As for my rating of the game, I'd give it an 8.5 out of 10.
