The 22nd BAFTA Games Awards ceremony took place Friday at the Queen Elizabeth Hall in London, with Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 emerging as the night's biggest winner. The French action-adventure game developed by Sandfall and Kepler Interactive secured the prestigious Best Game award, in addition to winning Debut Game and Performer in a Leading Role for Jennifer English's portrayal of Maelle.
The ceremony recognized excellence across the industry, with Death Stranding 2: On the Beach winning Artistic Achievement and Ghost of Yōtei taking home awards for both Technical Achievement and Music. Dispatch also performed well, winning Animation and Audio Achievement, along with Performer in a Supporting Role for Jeffrey Wright's performance as Chase.
Other notable winners included No Man's Sky for Evolving Game, South of Midnight for New Intellectual Property, and Atomfall for British Game. The event featured presenters from across the entertainment industry, including Charlie Cox and Abubakar Salim, while composer David Arnold debuted the title song for the upcoming 007: First Light video game.
