Nintendo Confirms Treehouse: Live Stream Featuring Mario Wonder and Pokémon Pokopia

Published on 24 February, 2026

Nintendo is set to host a new Treehouse: Live presentation this week, offering fans an extensive look at gameplay for two anticipated titles. The livestream is scheduled for Tuesday, February 24, beginning at 2:00 PM PT (5:00 PM ET) and is expected to run for approximately 80 minutes.

Unlike the traditional Nintendo Direct format, which primarily focuses on trailers and new announcements, the Treehouse: Live series emphasizes hands-on gameplay demonstrations. Consequently, viewers should not expect a slew of new reveals during this broadcast; instead, the focus will remain strictly on deep dives into the featured games.

Featured Titles

The presentation will center on Super Mario Bros Wonder: Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park and Pokémon Pokopia.

The upgraded Switch 2 Edition of Super Mario Bros Wonder is slated for release on March 26. It introduces several new features, including Rosalina as a playable character and various multiplayer modes. Players who already own the standard Switch version will have the option to purchase a digital upgrade, while the standalone Switch 2 Edition will be available for purchase physically or digitally.

Additionally, the stream will showcase Pokémon Pokopia, a collaborative project between Koei Tecmo and Game Freak launching March 5. In this title, players assume the role of a Ditto disguised as a human, embarking on a quest to rebuild an island by befriending local Pokémon.
