Psychological Horror Game 'Pink Noise' Launches in Early Access

Published on 09 March, 2026

A new psychological horror title, Pink Noise, has entered Early Access, inviting players to experience a narrative driven by 90s nostalgia and supernatural terror. The developers have released the first episode immediately, allowing users to delve into the mysteries of Riverwood, a fog-shrouded town with a dark secret.

Gameplay and Narrative
The story centers on a group of teenagers who stumble upon an unmarked VHS tape, triggering a series of catastrophic events. The game distinguishes itself with hundreds of hand-painted frames and fully animated characters, creating a cinematic visual novel experience. Player agency is central to the gameplay; moral choices influence relationships and branching storylines, leading to multiple potential endings.

Development Roadmap
Developers estimate the Early Access period will last between three to five years. While the first episode is currently playable from start to finish, the full version is planned to include five episodes in total. The team intends to utilize community feedback from Steam forums to fix technical issues and refine gameplay mechanics. Players purchasing during this phase will receive all future content updates at no additional cost, though the price may increase upon the final release.

Mature Themes and System Specs
The title contains psychologically intense themes and stylized horror, including depictions of suicide, injury, and death. System requirements list Windows 10 64-bit as the minimum OS, with 6GB of RAM and integrated graphics supported.
