Capcom has revealed a comprehensive roadmap of post-launch content for Resident Evil Requiem, celebrating the title's impressive sales milestone. In a video message, Director Koshi Nakanishi announced that the game has sold over five million copies since its launch on February 27.
To support the game's continued success, the developers are rolling out several new features. A highly requested Photo Mode is currently in the works, allowing players to capture their in-game experiences. While an initial patch has already been deployed to fix performance issues, the team pledged ongoing technical support.
Looking ahead, players can anticipate a "surprise" reveal scheduled for May. Furthermore, a new mini-game is being developed to add variety to the gameplay loop.
Perhaps the most significant announcement was the confirmation of a story expansion. Nakanishi stated that the team is hard at work creating additional narrative content that explores the world of Requiem in greater depth. He noted that development is still in the early stages and will require patience from the fanbase.
Resident Evil Requiem is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.
