Star Trek: Voyager - Across the Unknown Hits 100,000 Sales, Record for Daedalic

German developer Gamexcite and publisher Daedalic Entertainment have announced that their latest release, Star Trek: Voyager - Across the Unknown, has sold over 100,000 copies in its first four days on the market. This sales figure represents the most successful launch in Daedalic's 20-year history.

The game is currently available on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2. Performance on the PC platform has been particularly strong, with the title breaking into the top 40 worldwide sellers on Steam and reaching the top 5 in Germany. According to concurrent player data, the game saw a peak of 9,173 players simultaneously shortly after launch.

Development of the title was supported by over 1.2 million Euros in funding from the German government. Despite some community feedback regarding the necessity of patches and discussions surrounding launch DLC, the title holds a "Mostly Positive" rating on Steam with over 1,600 user reviews. Many players have praised the small team's effort, describing the project as a labor of love despite minor technical weaknesses.
