Wendy's and developer 81monkeys have launched WendyQuest: Legend of the Four Corner Stones, a free role-playing game on Steam. The title is offered at no cost to players and supports Windows PCs and the Steam Deck. It is currently provided in English only.

Core premise

In the story, players take on the role of Wendy, the restaurant's mascot. The conflict begins when MechBorg releases Mech Corp's mechs across the land of Savoria. To counter the threat, Wendy must locate the four Corner Stones and assemble allies from different regions to fight back.

Gameplay and presentation

An official trailer shows combat sequences, highlights several regions, and introduces party members such as Baconator, Frygor, and Sir Chicken. Promotional screenshots further showcase the game's characters and environments.

Broader context

81monkeys is also working on another project called World of Anterra. The release continues a pattern of fast-food brands producing mascot-driven games to promote their identities.
