Xbox has officially revealed its upcoming slate of Game Pass additions for April, delivering a mix of classic RPGs, survival simulators, and blockbuster action titles. The announcement confirms weeks of rumors regarding one particular title while solidifying a strong month for subscribers across console, PC, and cloud platforms.
Leading the charge is The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, scheduled to arrive on April 16. This updated version of the 2006 classic promises modernized visuals and refined gameplay mechanics, allowing a new generation to explore the land of Cyrodiil. Just days prior, on April 14, subscribers can dive into Hades II, the sequel to the critically acclaimed roguelike. Set in the Greek Underworld, players will assume the role of the immortal Princess to battle the Titan of Time.
First-Person Shooters and Strategy
FPS fans have plenty to look forward to this month. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare joins the library on April 17, offering a grounded campaign and multiplayer experience. Additionally, FBC: Firebreak arrives on April 8, a cooperative shooter set within the Federal Bureau of Control, tasking players with containing paranormal threats.
Strategy enthusiasts are not left behind. Endless Legend 2 enters Game Preview on April 8, challenging players to lead asymmetric factions to victory. Sports management fans can also look forward to Football Manager 26, launching on April 13 with a reimagined interface built on the Unity engine.
Day-One Releases and Indie Highlights
Several indie titles are launching directly into the service. Replaced, a 2.5D cinematic platformer featuring an AI protagonist in an alternate 1980s America, debuts on April 14. Other day-one drops include Vampire Crawlers, a turn-based card battler from the creators of Vampire Survivors, and Kiln, a unique pottery-themed arena game, both arriving later in the month.
